‘CTRL’ trailer: Ananya Pandey starrer Vikramaditya Motwane promises an interesting cyber thriller

Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane says he aims to give audiences an “immersive experience” with his upcoming cyber thriller film. CTRLStarring Ananya Pandey and all set to hit Netflix on October 4
On Wednesday, the streaming service unveiled the official trailer for the movie, a sophisticated thriller that questions human dependence on technology. It also features Bihan Samat mismatch fame
CTRL A completely unique journey for me and the team. It’s told in what we call the Screen Life format, which is telling a story using technology that we use literally every day.
“Our goal was to create this incredible immersive experience, and Netflix as a platform really helped us reach a global audience,” Motwane said in a statement. In the movie, Pandey and Samat play the roles of Nella and Joe respectively, a romantic couple who create content together and are loved by their internet audience.
“Nella and Joe are the perfect dominating couple. But when Joe cheats on Nella, she turns to an AI app to erase her from her life — until the app takes control,” read the official synopsis.
Pandey said her character Nella is caught up in a world dominated by technology and social media, just like every person today.

Motwane wrote CTRL In collaboration with Avinash Rich with dialogues by actor-comedian Sumukhi Suresh. The movie is a Saffron and Andolan production in association with Travellin’ Sisters.
