Prime Video has launched its trailer Castle: Honey Bunny Tuesday in Mumbai. Starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and directed by Raj and DK, the series is an Indian spin-off of the global espionage franchise. The Citadel.

Written with regular collaborator Sita R Menon and set in the 90s, honey bunny Boasting Raj & DK’s trademark blend of humor and action.

When stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan) hires struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig, they are thrown into a high-stakes world of action, espionage and betrayal. Years later, with their dangerous past catching up, the estranged Honey and Bunny must reunite and fight to protect their young daughter, Nadia.

Joe and Anthony Russo, its creators The CitadelProducers are attached as well. The series also stars acclaimed actors like KK Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Sivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar.

Varun Dhawan said, “Bani is unlike any character I have played before. “As a spy, he not only leads a double life, but each side of his personality has two distinct sides, which was very exciting for me as an actor. Intricately woven into the story, portraying it required me to draw on a combination of experiences and characters embodied over the years, as well as prepare for mentally and physically demanding stunts and amped-up action scenes, making it one of my favorites. The most challenging performance yet.”

Samantha, who last collaborated with Raj and DK family man Season 2, said, “The challenges and efforts required to bring Honey to life have had a profound impact on me professionally and personally, making it one of the most important roles of my career.”

Castle: Honey Bunny Will be streaming on Prime Video from November 7. Earlier this month, Castle: DianaItalian spin off The CitadelStreaming has started on Prime Video.
